Join us for coffee, conversation, and a presentation on low-cost ways to save energy and money for your congregational facility. Plus hear the latest on efforts by Clean Air Muscatine to improve the local air quality.
Meet the Energy Hero, as dubbed by his congregation, and learn how he earned his title by implementing low-cost measures in his congregation to save energy and money. Immanuel United Methodist doubled the use of their building, sharing with a second congregation, without an increase in utility costs. The Energy Hero, also known as Wendell Saunders, serves as Iowa Interfaith Power and Light’s Board Vice-President, and retired as VP for Goodrich, an aerospace company.
Also, CLAM Executive Director Jessica Brackett will give an update on efforts to improve local air quality, including the “Bucket Brigade” air quality monitoring.
