Interfaith Green Coalition Sponsors Speaking Series in Des Moines

Interfaith Green Coalition is again hosting a series of public discussions during the Season of Creation.

Expect intriguing and challenging discussions of our shared role as stewards of God’s creation. All are invited to join the group for inspiration and spiritual grounding as they address the urgent need for solutions to the crises facing our common home.

The Season of Creation begins on September 1, the Day of Prayer for Creation, and ends on October 4, the feast day of St. Francis, the patron saint of ecology in many traditions. The 2018 series of free presentations will focus on the 2018 theme, Walking Together Through Our Sacred Creation.

The group has designed a beautiful color poster promoting the events. Iowa Interfaith Power & Light is co-sponsoring and promoting the series.
