Since the beginning of 2022, I have been to Washington, Ames, Waverly, Storm Lake, Dubuque, Atlantic, and Orange City to meet with farmers and faith leaders all over Iowa. Whether it’s a Faith Farms & Climate session or leading a workshop, I’m struck with awe when I hear the stories of Iowans of faith and conscience stepping up to take bold and just climate action. We are able to enter spaces others are unable to access because we enter the conversation with faith first. This is possible because of the support that you give Iowa Interfaith Power & Light.

Iowa IPL’s mission and outreach are both growing as we continue our Called to Climate Action college leadership program with the goal of expanding to new college campuses, and as we add faith leader conversations to our Faith Farms & Climate programming. Both programs weave together faith, vocation, and climate action, which is unique in the Iowa environmental community.
