The time for bold and just climate action is truly upon us. On the federal level climate change is a priority of the new administration. Yet, powerful interests are opposing climate action as much as and in some cases even more so than ever.

In November 2018, like so many Americans, I watched the midterm elections like a hawk. I paid special attention to Iowa’s election as I watched the numbers roll in from my tiny D.C. studio apartment surrounded by the packed boxes that would join me in my move to Iowa.
We continue to partner with our fellow Iowa environmental organizations to both support bi-partisan bills that advance clean energy and oppose bills that attempt to stop clean energy innovation. You can take actions to help on both accounts.
